Special note about AI-generated list features: When you use the AI list generation feature, we temporarily receive your input title and description and forward them to the AI service provider to generate content suggestions. This information is used solely for that generation process, our servers do not save or record this data, and we do not associate this information with your personal identity. After generation is complete, this information is immediately discarded.

Data We May Collect

To provide and improve our services, we may collect the following information:

• Device Information: Basic device information such as operating system version, device model, and language settings, used only to ensure application compatibility and proper functionality.
• App Usage Statistics: Anonymous usage data, such as feature usage frequency and app crash reports, to help us improve the app experience.
• Subscription Information: Purchase data related to your subscription, processed by the Apple App Store.

3. Data Storage

Local Storage

By default, all lists and task data you create in Checkly are stored only locally on your device. We do not upload this data to our servers or any third-party services.

iCloud Sync

If you are a subscription user and choose to enable iCloud sync, your data will be synchronized to your personal iCloud account. This synchronization is completely managed by Apple, and we cannot access your data stored in iCloud.

Data Retention

Since your content data is stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account, data retention is entirely controlled by you. You can delete all locally stored information at any time by deleting the app or clearing app data.

4. How Information Is Used

Providing and Improving Services

The limited information we collect is used to:

• Ensure normal functioning of the app
• Improve user experience and app performance
• Develop new features and resolve issues
• Process subscription requests and manage payments

AI Generation Features

When you use AI generation features:

• Your entered title and description are temporarily transmitted through our backend API to the AI service provider, used only to generate suggested list content
• This data is only used temporarily during the generation process, our servers do not save or permanently store this information
